What a beautiful ranch & just imagine waking up to all those horses...definitely a new thing for you "city slickers" How special this vacation was! I'm sure Kim's sis wouldn't mind seeing you come back for a visit again. The video was too short! It was enjoyable though!

Greetings Jer, Kim, and blesed gifts,
Thanks for sharing your rustic vacation adventures from Colorado. It appears you are well and having a very restful & exciting vacation adventure. Thank you Jesus!
Enjoyed the Vid clip. I hope that Julianne's freind is keeping himself respectful. Jer I'm grateful I had boys.
What an exciting Family adventure vacation.
It brought back fond memories of the two summers I spent on a throughbread racing farm from age 12-13, earning my lessons the second summer working the farm and learning everything from horseriding, jumping & animal husbandry (yeh, that's what they call it, even though you don't get married!) and caring for and jumping show horses that were in excess of $200k .
Also the summers when I would be shipped back east to my grandmothers house in Oswego,NY. What a beautiful homestead they had.Back in the lush green, tree thick, hilly countryside where we'd go venture back to the swamp with expectations of big frogs, snakes, mysterious leaches and unknowns? I would also go to aunt Peg's and Uncle Miles lake camp to fish and then up to my uncle Kenny's (Vietnam Vet) dairy farm. What a tremdous and facinating experience for a young child (and hard, rugged work too!). I got electricuted so many times from the dairy fence my first day (focusing my eyes for frogs in the pasture pond) that I got sick and went to bed at 2 o clock in the afternoon (unbelieveable what with all that still unexplored Huck Finn stuff out there!)
and I was out for the night. And still had to get up at 4am for the first milking.
(oh yeh then theres the walking in the snow four miles each day, barefoot, and liking it! Just kidding).
I hope your all safe and have an incredible time together. I also hope that maybe you might shuck it all in and just move to the country and make a life of it. Then you could share your experience amd maybe help lead all of us to that slower, hard working, and richer lifestyle where there are fewer innovative technologies and more exposure to God's incredible, natual creation. Isn't God's mighty work so incredible and awesome? It reminds of Romans where God explains that nobody can disclaim His mighty work:
19 ΒΆ because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
Have an incredibly experience & be safe.
God rocks eternal!
Your's in Christ
God bless,
b
