This was one of our best vacations- EVER. The hiking, the ranch, National Parks, the National Park entrance signs. I like those. They give me a feeling of family. Thus, I take their pictures. Kind of silly I know, growing up, educational films in both school and television, would often depict families going on vacation together to the National Parks; mom and dad, kids, a Town and Country Squire station wagon, Coleman camping gear...I was always drawn to these types of films. Now, it's my turn.
In two weeks, we shot 4 hours of high-def video. I say we because you are about to experience: 'KIM CAM.' Back to the 4 hours of tape, I need to go through this footage and determine what is usable, edit it and somehow turn it into watchable material, plus I am learning new software, thus the delay in this video.
Horses. They scare me. A few people, who will remain nameless, want to see me in the saddle once again, thus the titled post "But did Jerry ride a horse?" I'm not telling, you'll find out soon enough.
In part 1, we'll take you to Kim's family in CO-where Kim quickly discovered the green light on the camera only means the power is ON but it is not recording. I'll take you fly fishing, courtesy of Ben and Drew Z and stop in at the infamous Casa Bonita restaurant.

I remember Casa Bonita! That truly is a "must see" for visitors. I still talk about that place to friends who might be going to Colorado. I remember the mariachi band members let the girls play with the musical instruments.
And the scenery of the lake is awesome. Wow, what a great place to live and play. And they're doing God's work, to boot. What a blessed life.
Nice job, Jerry ... and Kim :) Can't wait to see the completed video on the big screen! Your family has also grown, Kim... there's nothing like family... especially when you can go to such beautiful country to visit and enjoy them!
